VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Businesses of all types in B.C. are banding together to make people more aware of the effect of climate change.
Drummond Lawson, the director of sustainability for Arc’teryx, is now also the co-founder of the Business Coalition for a Clean Economy, which launched today.
“Clearly, the bill from climate change is real and immediate and increasing. Unless the solutions start to match the scale of the problem, we’re going to have to pay for that,” says Lawson. “That’s real, that cost shows up, and the smartest thing we can do is build proactive actions against it now.”

The newly-formed network has also written to the premier, calling this a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create jobs, encourage innovation, build healthy and safe communities and reduce waste.
