VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A procession of close to 50 tow trucks drove through Vancouver on Saturday as a final tribute to a fellow driver.
Their final destination was a church in Tsawwassen where a celebration of life was held for Joe Milley, who worked in the towing industry for over 30 years.
Milley was involved in a workplace accident that left him on life support at Vancouver General Hospital. He passed away on June 9.
One of the drivers in the procession called the profession a “brotherhood” and Milley “a close friend.”
An online fundraising campaign has been started for his family.
