One dead after single-car crash at UBC

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – One person has died following a single car crash at UBC’s Point Grey campus on Wednesday afternoon.
Mounties investigating the incident say the deceased was not a pedestrian.
A photo from the scene shows a black sedan at a stop against a pole and a yellow tarp covering what appears to be a body near the driver’s side door.
Two ambulances were dispatched to 16th Avenue near Wesbrook Mall during the noon hour and no one has been transported to hospital.
