Bell outage affects police, municipalities, cell customers in B.C.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Phone service went down across the province for Bell customers, including some police services and several Lower Mainland municipalities Saturday.

Service to RCMP non-emergency lines went down but was restored around 6 p.m.
Problems persisted for other Bell customers, including several cities on the Lower Mainland.

Individual Bell customers are also reporting issues and as of 9 p.m. Saturday there was no solution in sight.
