Lions Gate Bridge reopens after closure due to serious crash

NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — The Lions Gate Bridge has reopened after police closed it due to a serious, multi-vehicle crash Friday evening.

According to Simi Heer from the Vancouver Police Department, the collision involved vehicles heading north and southbound on the bridge.
Officers were called around 7:30 p.m and collision investigators were on the scene.
“It appears at least one person has been transported to hospital,” she said.
