As we say goodbye to the winter season and welcome in spring, there’s plenty to do in Metro Vancouver this weekend.
It’s time for Persian New Year, as we approach the spring equinox. Nowruz is being celebrated by many, including with an event at the Pinnacle Hotel on the pier in North Vancouver.
St. Patrick’s Day may be over but there’s still some stuff to do! CelticFest is on in Vancouver outside the Art Galley, featuring live music and Irish dancers.
54-40 plays at the Commodore Ballroom Saturday night, open only to those 18 and up.
Hockey Night in Canada is back in Vancouver when the Canucks host the Calgary Flames Saturday.
And if hockey’s not your thing, why not check out some volleyball in Langley with the Canada West Championship at the Events Centre?
