49-year-old driver dies after collision in Langley City

A 49-year-old man has died after two vehicles collided Friday afternoon.

Mounties say just before 4:00 p.m. near Grade Crescent and west of 208 Street, a Dodge Caravan and a 1932 Ford Roadster crashed.

The driver of the Roadster was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the man may have experienced a medical emergency.

“The very early investigation suggests the Roadster suddenly swerved and collided with the caravan,” a release reads.

The driver of the second vehicle involved did not have any major injuries, but police say the driver was “extremely affected by shock.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to please call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
