One man in hospital after shots fired in Whalley

Surrey Mounties are investigating in Whalley after shots were fired Saturday morning and one man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

According to police, at around 10 a.m., they received reports of shots fired between Larner Road and Howey Road.

When Mounties arrived, a man was suffering from serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Officers say as the investigation is still in its early stages, they will be canvassing the neighbourhoods and speaking to witnesses. However, they believe this is an isolated incident.

Anyone with information, including dash cam footage around the area of Grosvenor Road between the 13600 and the 13900 block are asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 2022-72525.
