About My Father
Where to watch: Cinemas
First up, a family comedy about how hard family can be!
About My Father is a new film based off of the stand-up comedy of Sebastian Maniscalco (from the Irishman and Green Book). He plays a man hoping to propose to his girlfriend (played by Leslie Bibb from Jupiter’s Legacy) at a Fourth of July long weekend with her family there. The only problem is his immigrant father (played by Robert De Niro from Goodfellas and Meet the Parents) wants to come along, and he’s quite the obnoxious type. This film also stars Kim Cattrall (from Sex and the City), David Rasche (from Succession), and Anders Holm (from Workaholics).

Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life (Season 2)
Where to watch: Disney+
Now, it’s time for a little animated fun!
Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life is a show about the adventures of Chip and Dale, two anthropomorphic chipmunks. The two have been around since the 1940s, but this show reimagines them in the modern world getting into crazy adventures in the park. This show is co-created by Disney and French production company Xilam, and is predominantly non-verbal. That means the show plays kind of like a silent movie, relying on visual language to tell the story. And as always, it’s very cute!
You can watch both seasons of this show on Disney+ now!
Kandahar
Where to watch: Cinemas
Next up, some intense action!

He’s got to get to the province of Kandahar alongside his translator (played by Navid Negahban from Legion) to find the extraction point, but this could be the end of the line for them. This film also stars Ali Fazal (from Mirzapur), Nina Toussaint-White (from EastEnders) and Corey Johnson (from Hellboy).

He’s hoping to reconnect with his family, having spent far too much time apart from them. But he’s called back in the game to help one operative trapped behind enemy lines. When he goes to rescue her, he discovers it’s actually his daughter (played by Monica Barbaro from Top Gun: Maverick). The two have to work together to escape, and they learn that they don’t actually know that much about each other. This show also stars Jay Baruchel (from BlackBerry), Aparna Brielle (from A.P.
