Vancouver police arrest man after kids flashed at playground

Police in Vancouver say a man has been arrested after a group of kids reported seeing someone exposing himself to them.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says the children were at a playground in East Vancouver Tuesday when the incident happened.

Investigators say the kids reported what they saw to an adult, after which point 911 was called.

Officers reportedly arrived and “caught him in the act.”

The 30-year-old has been arrested. The VPD says Gregory Raul West has been charged with “committing an indecent act” and “exposing genitals to a person under 18.”
