Man dies after kayaking on Squamish’s Cheakamus River

A man in his 40s is dead following an incident that took place on the Cheakamus River in Squamish Saturday, the RCMP says.
Police aren’t saying how the man died, but they say he was kayaking with a friend when an incident occurred.
Mounties say they were called to the river, and life-saving efforts were administered.
