One person in ‘serious condition’ after Vancouver collision
BC Emergency Health Services says one person is in hospital after an incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near Lord Byng Secondary School.
Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, BCEHS says it responded to a call near West 16th Avenue and Wallace Street in Vancouver’s West Point Grey neighbourhood.
BCEHS says one patient was transported to hospital in “serious condition.”
Images show what appears to be a bag and a Nike Air Force 1 shoe on the ground at the scene, which is taped off by police.
Two ambulances, an advanced care paramedic response unit and a supervisor responded.
Around 3:30 p.m., Vancouver police posted that West 16th Avenue was closed eastbound between Crown and Dunbar due to a “serious collision.”
