Stabbing in downtown Vancouver sends 1 to hospital

Vancouver police say one person has been taken to the hospital after a stabbing Friday.

It happened in the area of Granville and Nelson streets just after 1 p.m.

The VPD said just after 2 p.m. that officers remained in the area, and that one person had been arrested.

The victim suffered what police say initially appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.
