Burnaby RCMP seeking witnesses after pedestrian injured in hit-and-run
Police in Burnaby say a pedestrian was the victim of a hit-and-run while crossing a street Wednesday morning.
The Burnaby RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian around 6:45 a.m. at Canada Way and Burris Street.
“Reports indicate the pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle turning left onto Canada Way eastbound failed to yield and struck the female pedestrian, injuring her arm,” Mounties said.

They say the driver did not remain on scene, and the victim, a 64-year-old, was taken to hospital.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, but no description of the vehicle nor driver is available yet.
