Police say two men are facing charges after a shooting in South Surrey last week.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says that just after 11:15 p.m. on March 11, officers got reports of “several” shots fired along 33 Avenue near 152 Street.
When the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) officers arrived, they reportedly found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
“The members immediately rendered aid and Surrey Fire Services and BCEHS attended the scene and treated the man. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition,” Sgt. Tige Pollock said in a statement at the time.

Police say two suspects, spotted in the area, attempted to flee in a vehicle only to crash. The suspects were then arrested with the help of a police dog.
A 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old man are now both facing charges of attempted murder using a firearm for the benefit of a criminal organization.
The 24-year-old is also facing one charge of flight from a peace officer and one charge of dangerous operation of a vehicle.
Police say the men remain in custody until their next court dates this month.
