The Independent Investigations Office of BC (IIO) says it is asking for witnesses to a crash in Langley on April 10.
The IIO says members of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) — B.C.’s Anti-Gang Agency — had been following a vehicle that may have been involved in a robbery in South Surrey.
As police were travelling east on 36th Avenue near 200th Street in Langley around 2:30 p.m., the CFSEU attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, which resulted in a collision. There was also a second collision between an unrelated civilian vehicle and a police vehicle. This resulted in three people — including two police officers — being injured.

At the time, the Surrey Police Service said the driver of the civilian vehicle was being investigated for impaired driving.
Four people were arrested at the scene.
The IIO is asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage to call the Witness Line at 1-855-446-8477.
