Police investigating after Abbotsford home hit by gunfire

The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says it is investigating after a home was shot at early Saturday morning.

Police were called out to the residence on Tolmie Road near No. 5 Road after reports of a shooting just before 4 a.m.

The occupants were asleep inside the home at the time of the gunfire.

“While understandably shaken, no one was physically injured,” Sgt. Paul Walker said.

The motive for the shooting is unknown.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or who may have dashcam footage is asked to call the AbbyPD Major Crime Unit at 604-859-5225.
