A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a pickup truck in Surrey Saturday morning, police say.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says officers were called out to the area of 132nd Street and Crescent Road shortly before 9 a.m.

“Surrey Fire Service firefighters and BCEHS paramedics attended the scene and, despite life-saving medical interventions, the motorcyclist, an adult male, died,” Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said.

Houghton tells 1130 NewsRadio that the driver of the truck was not injured and is cooperating with police. The driver was the sole occupant.

The cause of the collision is unknown. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area while police investigate.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to call the SPS at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2025-38200 (SU).
