BC Ferries Vice President of Strategy and Planning Brian Anderson says the championship game is expected to boost demand on the company beyond the last two, record-setting summers.
“Announcing fares and opening bookings now gives customers more time to plan and helps us manage demand in a way that supports reliability for everyone who depends on the system,” Anderson explained.
Meanwhile, fares across the system will increase by an average of 3.2 per cent, starting April 8.
Between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island, vehicle and adult fares will increase to $110, adult foot passenger fares will increase to $21, but ‘Saver’ fares will remain at the current cost.
Complete details of the increases can be found on the BC Ferries website.
