‘Serious’ crash in Coquitlam involving motorcycle, semi leads to road closures

One person in Coquitlam was hospitalized after a “serious” crash involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck Monday afternoon.
According to the Coquitlam RCMP, officers were called just before 1 p.m. for reports of the crash near United Boulevard and Burbidge Street.
In an email to CityNews, BC Emergency Health Services says two ambulances were called to the crash, with one person transported to the hospital in critical condition.

United Boulevard was closed in both directions between Leeder Street and Shuswap Avenue for a police investigation until it reopened just before 7 p.m.
