VPD investigating overnight homicide in Joyce-Collingwood area

A 46-year-old suspect has been arrested after what the VPD is calling a homicide that happened overnight in Vancouver’s Joyce-Collingwood area.

Officers were called to a home near Rupert Street and Euclid Avenue around midnight, where a woman in her 20s was found deceased. Another man, also in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say there is no current risk to the public. Forensic investigators will be working in the area throughout the day.
