About Jack
Jack Rabb is a video journalist with a passion for giving his local community the platform it deserves. After finishing up his undergrad at Queen’s University, Jack drove across the country with his phenomenal dog Elwood to study at UBC. While he worked on his Master of Journalism degree, he interned with CBC Radio and The Globe and Mail. Jack also worked with Sportsnet throughout this time and played varsity football for the Thunderbirds (don’t look up his stats), reflecting his love for all things sports.
After graduating, Jack got his foot in the door at CityNews as a producer and hasn’t looked back. As a reporter, he's covered a wide range of subjects, including national political developments and major local breaking news. He cares a lot about the people whose stories he tells and strives to present the most balanced and insightful coverage possible to our Vancouver audience.
When he’s not on the clock, Jack enjoys getting out in nature, working on his perpetually broken car, and spending quality time with his wonderful partner.
