Vancouver city council begins review of 2026 operating budget

Debate was heated at City Hall as the city of Vancouver introduced the first draft of its proposed 2026 budget. The $2.4 billion operating budget maintains Mayor Ken Sim’s ‘Zero Means Zero’ freeze on property tax increases. Angelina Ravelli has more.
