Canadian Blood Services activating Blood Signal
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – They need your blood!
Marcelo Dominguez with Canadian Blood Services says June and July are tricky months since so many people take holidays.
“The need for blood is just constant. Blood is like milk, it expires, and so we’re in a situation where we are regularly needing to encourage people to book appointments to come in and donate and make it part of their activities every other month.”

The organization is about to activate its Blood Signal which is only used during times of great need. Anyone looking to help out can book a time to give online.
