Barn destroyed by fire in Surrey
SURREY (NEWS1130) – A massive fire has gutted a barn on 152nd near 40th Ave. in Surrey this morning.
Sgt. Dale Carr says Mounties have been to the property many times in the past for reports of squatters. “There’s a house on the property and it was cleared to see if anybody was in it, but there was no one in the home.”
“It doesn’t appear as if it’s suspicious, but we haven’t been able to fully investigate it and find the source,” Carr adds.

Carr says the barn was mostly used for storage.
The property owners weren’t home at the time.
