BC Liberals name Tony Harris as candidate in Nanaimo by-election
NANAIMO (NEWS 1130) – The BC Liberals have named a local businessman to run in Nanaimo’s by-election.
Tony Harris, the son of late car dealership and mobile phone mogul Tom Harris, will run in hopes of creating a tie between the Liberals and NDP-Green alliance in the legislature.

Nanaimo MLA Leonard Krog won the mayoral race in that city last month, prompting the need for the by-election.
