Woman killed in downtown Vancouver after being hit by bus: VPD
A woman has died after being hit by a bus near West Georgia and Cardero Street, according to Vancouver police.
The VPD says the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and it’s the city’s eighth pedestrian fatality of the year.
Traffic in the busy area is blocked westbound and partially blocked eastbound, as of 4 p.m.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
They’re still working to figure out what happened and are asking anyone who saw the crash but left before investigators arrived to call them right away.
