Delta hit and run kills man, police say driver now co-operating with investigation
A man has died after being struck by a car in Delta early Tuesday morning, according to police.
It happened at 112th Street and 80th Avenue just after 3:30 a.m.
Police note the victim is a 60-year-old man, and investigators say they have notified his next of kin.

The man was transported to the hospital where he eventually died of his injuries.
Initially, officers say the driver of the vehicle left the scene, but has since come forward and is now co-operating with the investigation.
The intersection where the collision happened was closed off to the public for several hours on Tuesday morning. Police reopened the intersection around noon.
Delta police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to give them a call right away at 604-946-4411.
