17-year-old dead after crash: Langley RCMP

The Langley RCMP says a teen is dead after a crash on the Fraser Highway Saturday night.

The driver, a 17-year-old according to the RCMP, was the only person in the vehicle. Investigators say he was found dead at the crash site around 8:20 p.m. on Jan. 7.

Police say a power pole was found damaged near the scene of the crash where the teen’s Tesla veered off the road.

Police add they are still investigating the cause of the driver’s death.
