3 people rescued after Port Moody townhome fire
A Port Moody townhome went up in flames early Monday morning, resulting in three people and multiple pets being rescued. Kier Junos reports.
A Port Moody townhome went up in flames early Monday morning, according to the city’s fire department.
According to the Port Moody Fire Rescue (PMFR), at around 4:40 a.m., firefighters were called to a structure fire in the Heritage Woods area.

Crews managed to rescue three people from a balcony, while firefighters say multiple pets were also rescued.
PMFR says it had help from an off-duty Surrey firefighter during the rescue.

It’s unclear what caused the fire.
