Suspects wanted in Metrotown sunglass theft, assault: Burnaby RCMP
The hunt is on for two suspects after a Metrotown shop was robbed and a security guard was pepper sprayed in Burnaby earlier this month.
The Burnaby RCMP says officers received reports of “an assault with a weapon” just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.
It was learned that a security guard had been pepper sprayed while trying to intervene with a theft, which saw about $10,000 worth of sunglasses stolen.

The second suspect was wearing a dark baseball cap with a red logo on it, a grey jacket, a dark shirt with “Chicago” and “23” on the front, blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles.
They were carrying a black backpack at the time of the incident.
