Small earthquake felt on Vancouver Island Sunday morning
Some people on Vancouver Island may have felt a small earthquake Sunday morning.
The 4.1 magnitude quake was located in Quilcene in Washington state, about 100 kilometres south of Victoria, and happened just after 7 a.m., according to Earthquakes Canada.
It could be felt on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in Victoria and Sooke.
There were no reports of damage or injury and there is no risk of tsunami, the service said.
