Surrey pedestrian hit by pickup critically hurt: EHS
A man who was hit by a pickup truck in Surrey during the morning commute Monday suffered critical injuries, paramedics say.
BC Emergency Health Services confirms to CityNews the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
According to the Surrey RCMP, first responders were called to the area of Scott Road and Nordel Way just before 6:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a pedestrian being hit.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, with police saying they are cooperating with the investigation.
Roads had been closed for several hours but have since reopened.
