Man charged in investigation of Maple Ridge homicide from May: RCMP
A man has been charged in connection with the investigation of a homicide in May in Maple Ridge, the Ridge Meadows RCMP says.
On May 31, a man died after a shooting in the area of 223 Street and Lougheed Highway. At the time, witnesses reported seeing a man fleeing the scene.
Alexander Delair, a 26-year-old man from Maple Ridge, has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the homicide.
The victim’s name has not been released.

Delair remains in police custody.
