Custom bike made for child with complex health needs stolen outside Surrey school
The Surrey RCMP says a custom bike belonging to the family of a child with complex health needs was stolen outside a school Monday.
Mounties say a father reported that he had locked up the bike around 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 16 near 162 Street and 88 Avenue to pick up his daughter from school. When he returned 15 minutes later, the bike was missing.
He tells police his daughter has complex health needs that require her to use the custom-made additions to the bike for mobility.

In the video, the suspect can be seen wearing a grey and maroon long-sleeve shirt, dark pants, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
The bike is described as a green, Eventin Abound Cargo E-Bike with two child seats attached.
“It’s extremely important for us to recover this stolen bike as it has been customized to fit this child’s specific needs,” said Corp. Sarbjit K. Sangha
