Police are cracking down on drivers who slow down to look at accidents.
Ontario Provincial Police in Napanee, near Belleville, handed out almost two-dozen tickets on Monday to drivers spotted taking pictures and videos of two transport trucks which collided on Highway 401.
The Toronto Sun reports the drivers face charges of distracted driving and careless driving.
Police say they are very concerned about people using their cell phones while behind the wheel. In eastern Ontario nearly 18-hundred distracting driving charges have been laid so far this year.
