BOISE, ID (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canadians and Boise Hawks will meet in Game 3 of the best-of-three Northwest League championship tonight and the Canadians will be hoping for a case of déjà vu.
The C’s won their first NWL title last season and they did it after winning the first game, only to lose the second and then take the title in the third and deciding game.
The Hawks were able to extend the series with a 3-2 walk-off win last night.
Taylor Cole will get the call as the Canadians starting pitcher. Cole has been throwing well of late, including seven innings of no-hit ball in his regular season finale.
The Canadians earned their spot in the final series with a sweep of the Everett AquaSox in the West championship.
First pitch at Memorial Stadium is 5:45 p.m.
