Former teacher to learn fate on child porn charges

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A former teacher at a prestigious private school in Vancouver is due back in court today to learn his fate after being convicted on kiddie porn charges.

Christopher Ingvaldson was initially charged with 27 counts and was accused of being involved in a child porn ring that stretched from Canada to the UK and Australia.

The 42-year-old eventually pleaded guilty to accessing and possessing sexually explicit images of children.

Police say he even looked at the pictures while on the job at St George’s School, but investigators claim no one at the school was at risk.
