VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – News1130 listeners spend time on the Internet every day, but not when they’re at work! As for the iPhone, there may not be as many out there as you might think.
Those are few more technology bits and bytes from News1130 Interviews You! The first annual Insider Survey.
Half of our listeners spend between one and two hours a day online — one in four are surfing or working on the net for four hours or more. Two thirds claim they don’t spend company time surfing the web for personal reasons. The majority spend their online time on news and information websites — like News1130.com.
We asked what kind of mobile phone our listeners have, and while one in four do have an iPhone, a third of people who answered say they don’t have a smartphone at all — they still have a regular cellphone. Only 14 per cent have a blackberry and a full 85 per cent of people asked say they are NOT early adopters, not jumping at the newest tech toy to hit the market.
If you haven’t answered the survey yet, get on it!
Taking the survey gets you credits to enter to win cool prizes. The grand prize for taking News1130 Interviews You! is two nights at Poet’s Cove Resort and Spa on Pender Island.
