Canada Post delivers record number of parcels

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Canada Post broke a record last week for delivering a single-day record of one million parcels across Canada.

Officials say the amount delivered on December 13th was an 11 per cent increase over the previous year’s busiest day.

With a week to go before Christmas Day, Canada Post expects to deliver an additional 4.4 million parcels in time for Christmas Eve.
