Elderly man reported missing in Vancouver found

Update 12:52 p.m.: Chatsun Tam has been found.

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The VPD is asking for your help finding a missing elderly man who suffers from Dementia.

Chatsun Tam, 72, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. yesterday, when he left his home on Union Street near Campbell Avenue.

Tam is Asian, 5’5″, and about 160 lbs. He has black and grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and red-checkered coat and dark-coloured pants.

Tam does not speak English and is hard of hearing. He is known to ride transit and spends lots of time in Chinatown.

If you see him, you’re asked to stay with him and call 911 right away.
