NHL training camp opens today

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Training camp opens today for NHL players, one day after they overwhelmingly accepted an agreement to end the 17-week lockout.
Team owners ratified the deal four days ago.
Last night, the NHL released a shortened schedule in which each team will play 48 games instead of the usual 82.
The first games will be next Saturday.
The NHL’s last day will be June 28th if the Stanley Cup final goes the full seven games.
