Honda recalls 29,000 vehicles

By

MARKHAM, ON. (NEWS1130) – Honda is voluntarily recalling about 29,000 units of 2009-2013 Pilot and 2011-2013 Odyssey vehicles in Canada.

There is a problem with the driver’s airbag, so Honda is issuing the recall to either inspect or replace it. The driver’s airbag in these cars may have been assembled without some of the rivets that secure the airbag’s plastic cover. If the rivets are missing, the airbag may not deploy properly.

No crashes or injuries have been reported related to this issue.

If you have one of these cars, take it in to an authorized Honda dealer.  Customers will also receive a notification in the mail.

You can find more information about the recall here or call 1.888.9HONDA9.
