VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Fire crews in Vancouver had to clean up a huge amount of water after someone mischievously opened a water pipe in a building on Beatty Street today.
Vancouver Fire Captain Gabe Roder says a lot water from the 35th floor had poured down to the ground floor.
“It caused a tremendous amount of water to be discharged, and subsequently a tremendous amount of damage to happen. At this point we can tell you the water is off and that the Vancouver Police are carrying on the investigation.”
Roder couldn’t comment on evacuations in the building, as it’s unclear how much damage was done to various suites.
