RCMP in Port Coquitlam bust identity theft ring

PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – A 43-year-old man from Port Coquitlam is accused of running a fake ID and credit card mill out of his home.

Mounties have released photos of equipment they seized used to make, forge, and alter credit cards and identification.

They say they also found stolen property, drugs, and weapons in the home.            

Alvin Chand is charged with four counts of fraud-related charges.

Chand will be held in custody until his next court appearance, at the earliest, January 28.
