AG loses fight to see documents about BC Rail case

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – We may never know the full story about BC Rail.

The BC Supreme Court has rejected a bid from the province’s Auditor General, who is trying to get his hands on sealed documents about the case.

John Doyle wants to know why the BC government paid $6 million in legal bills for the two Liberal staffers.

Those staffers pleaded guilty in the case.

The judge says the files are protected by solicitor-client privilege.
