Bail hearing continues for Oscar Pistorius

PRETORIA, South Africa (NEWS1130) – It’s day two of the bail hearing for Olympic hero turned accused killer, Oscar Pistorius.
Several new details are emerging, including a witness account that non-stop talking and shouting was heard for up to an hour before Pistorius shot into the bathroom of his home.
The court has been shown a layout of the hallway leading to the bathroom and the angle through which the bullets passed through the door, suggesting he was wearing his prostetic legs when the shots were fired.
Investigators are also revealing that they found two bottles of testosterone and needles in a seperate bathroom.
Pistorius’ defence lawyer, Barry Roux, says the substance is an herbal remedy and not banned.
Investigators also say they found ammunition for a .38 handgun, which is a different gun than the one used on Valentine’s Day.
Meantime, details obtained by The Associated Press show Pistorius applied for firearm licenses for six more guns weeks before the shooting death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Pistorius already had a license for a 9 mm pistol, the gun that used in Steenkamp’s shooting.
The South African Police Service’s National Firearms Center claim Pistorius applied for licenses for a Smith & Wesson model 500 revolver, a .38-calibre Smith & Wesson revolver, a Vector .223-calibre rifle and three shotguns.
The applications listed the guns for Pistorius’ private collection.
Pistorius has been charged with premeditated murder.
He has said the shooting was accidental, that he thought there was an intruder in the house.
