Adrian Dix releases attack ad against himself

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – NDP Leader Adrian Dix said he was going to run a positive campaign, but he’s just released his first attack ad.

But BC Liberals probably won’t be too upset, because Dix is attacking himself.

The ad, called “Adrian Dix: Architecht of the 90s,” blames Dix for everything that happened in the 90s, from awful pop bands to fashion faux pas.

It’s a spoof on the Concerned Citizens for BC attack ads that criticize Dix for back-dating a memo more than a dozen years ago.

The ad ends with the NDP leader saying, “I’m Adrian Dix and I approve this message… They do know it’s 2013, right?”

Dix doesn’t make reference to April Fool’s Day at any point during the minute-long spot.
