VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Spring is always a popular season for weddings. And if you’re planning that big walk down the aisle you may want to hire a professional to help.
Brenda Nicholas is the owner of Lua Weddings and Events and she knows all too well how much information there is to wade through.
“Many people think hiring a wedding planner is just an unnecessary cost, but when you think about how much time you’ll be spending researching, interviewing, visiting all the vendors you need to pull off your wedding day, hiring someone to do that for you is a huge money & time saver. ”
Nicholas says a wedding planner can also be a great buffer between you, your family and the bridal party, but you have to choose wisely.
“Ask friends, coworkers, family, if they have used a wedding planner and have someone to recommend. Trust me, if a bride loved or hated her wedding planner, she’ll be happy to share all the details.”
There is always so much to choose from and Brenda says the trends are very fresh this season. “Mint green is hot this year…you’ll see it in bridesmaids dresses, invitations, flowers, decor, cakes, you name it. Also popular is lace…brides are loving the lace and vintage look right now for their dresses, flowers and even their decor.”
