Dinotown returns this summer

BRIDAL FALLS (NEWS1130) – It won’t be quite the same, but it’ll still be fun for the kids and will likely trigger some nostalgia in any of you driving through the Fraser Valley.

Dinotown near Bridal Falls is going to re-open on a smaller scale this summer.

“It’s not the full-blown theme park like we had at Bridal Falls before,” explains owner Rob Ell. “But we’ve taken all the live shows and the characters from the park and then, instead of having the boat ride and the pedal cars and all that stuff, I bought a whole bunch of giant inflatables.”

There will also be a water park.

“While the kids are waiting to watch the shows, they can play on all the inflatables. And then all the components that were part of Dinotown, like the little cars and dinosaurs and the signage and all that stuff fills in the rest of Dinotown Live,” says Ell.

Dinotown will run from June 29th to Labour Day. Ell notes they’ll have to see how the season goes before deciding whether to do it again next year.

The park is hiring about a dozen local students to work over the summer.
